Celebrating 19 years of adventures and national awards. The nursery operates from a grade II listed Georgian property which provides a flexible and deceptively spacious homely, learning environment over three floors. All children share access to enclosed nursery gardens for different age groups, and our attached, large ancient woodland, accessed from the rear locked gate, but also owned by the nursery.
Open Monday - Friday 7am-6pm, closed Bank Holidays and the week between Christmas and New Year.
Outstanding childcare and education for children aged 1-5 yrs. We also provide Adventure Club sessions for children aged 5yrs until their 9th birthday during school holidays, teacher days, strikes.
We are proud of our achievements over the years and continue to gather fantastic feedback during annual Local authority audits too. Ofsted rated the nursery and practice Outstanding all areas in 2011. 2016, 2018, 2021. We await our next inspection.
We are members of the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA), Early Years Alliance, Royal Horticultural Society and the National Education Nature Park programme.
This programme empowers children and young people to make a positive difference to both their own and nature's future by helping us to embed climate and nature into learning. Also hold 5-star food hygiene rating for the nursery kitchen.
